December 2020 Newsletter - Signs
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.” Luke 21:25

August 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 11
Throughout the Gospels we see the Father actively working in the Son's life, leading him along in his plan. Can we not see the Father at work in our own lives? Or do we think that the things that befall us in life are just happenstance, chance, or coincidence? Can't we see an eternal, omniscient, all-present God working all things out for our good, and in accordance to the good-pleasure of his will? Faith in the Father and his plan is the legacy given by Christ to all Christians; and is to be the sole and dynamic drive for all of us in our day to day living before God.
July 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 10
Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of
the earth your possession.”
Psalms 2:8
In Scripture, when we see that the principle of asking the Father is applied to the Son, it tells us that this is a universal principle, an axiomatic law at work in he universe. Naturally, it applies to us as well. It is how things are done. All things come to us from
the Father, who gives them to us in grace, as a present. But we must ask him for them! James 1:5,17,18.
June 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 9
When one has lost all, or even many of the things in life that he has loved, he can get very discouraged. It can seem that there is nothing to look forward to in life. But when he sees that God is not through with him and still has other things for him, then he knows that he has a hope and a future. He has something that he can put his faith in gear towards; something that he has to look forward to each day and be moving towards.
May 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 8
Faith believes the Word of God and what it teaches about God's plan; that He has put us here on earth and saved us for a purpose known only fully by Him. Thus, faith gives believers hope and a personal sense of destiny, motivating us to keep on going forward each day, regardless of the difficulties involved, or past failures. Faith moves believers to action; taking us out of passive resignation, defeat, and failure complexes, and into positive forward progress. It is not just positive thinking or having a cheery outlook on life.
It is totally God-centered and focused on the Word of God.
April 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 8
All of humanity wrestles with fear stemming out of our own insecurities, and we want to be protected from our fears. We wear armor in battles, use walls and fences; we want air bags and seat belts for our cars; have police officers to protect our communities; we buy guns; store food; take karate; act mean; all because we're afraid!  We want to be shielded from the things in life that we're afraid of.
But our God is a shield to all who take shelter in him.
March 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 7
Delving into the many compelling Hebrew words for Faith found in the Old Testament.
February 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 6
“Yahweh delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in, (or wait upon), his grace!” Psalms 147:11
January 2020 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 5
Those who trust in the Lord, everyday, as a way of life, with
a batach kind of trust, derive a great sense of security from doing so.
“Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love (grace) surrounds the man who trusts (batach – participle) in him.”
Psalms 32:10
“O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts (batach – participle) in you.”
Psalms 84:1

2019 Newsletters

December 2019 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 4
One of the most difficult things for us to do in life, is to trust God in the midst of our own suffering. We want answers, help, medicine, or just relief. We want to be healed or cured, and we want it now!
The encouraging thing is that suffering according to the will of God helps accomplish His divine purpose for our lives.
“So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.”
1 Peter 4:19

November 2019 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 3
As a shield protected the ancient soldier's body against the thousands of incoming arrows, Faith protects us from the thousands of attacks from the devil; attacks against our bodies, our souls, our health, our thought-life, our peace, our families and attacks against our church. Christ is a shield for us against God's wrath; and Faith is our shield against Satan’s wrath.
October 2019 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 2
The old saying, "Seeing is believing", is not true! Seeing is accepting as fact that something is true, by one of the senses that we possess, where we discern that something is real, true factual, by observation. But faith accepts something as true, without seeing!
September 2019 Newsletter - True Faith  -- part 1
With faith playing such a crucial role in the Christian's relationship to God, it seems imperative that we understand it as completely as possible. Failure to understand and utilize the principles of faith will lead the believer in Christ to fall  short of the grace of God in his day to day living, and will bar the unbeliever from ever entering into the grace of God, which comes through his Son Jesus Christ.
July & August 2019 Newsletter - Sense Of Security  -- part 3
No matter how many times we come to The Lord with our problems, he's always there and he never gets tired. No matter how big our problems are to us, he handles them all in his omnipotence! Therefore, Yahweh should be our only object of trust; the source of our sense of security. We can lean on him and depend upon him because he's always there for us!
June 2019 Newsletter - Sense Of Security  -- part 2
If we could have that inner feeling of security and well being from trusting in our mothers or fathers when we were children, knowing that they would always be there to help and protect us; then why can't we do the same thing with our omnipotent Lord and Savior?!?
May 2019 Newsletter - Sense Of Security  -- part 1
From a human perspective, one of the most primal needs that we all share, is the need to feel safe and secure. Living in frail bodies of flesh, and being surrounded by so many things that can hurt us, creates a sense of vulnerability. What we need is a sense of feeling secure, and to know that we're safe from harm!
April 2019 Newsletter - Hating Christians
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 10:22
March 2019 Newsletter - Fellowship With God
“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
February 2019 Newsletter - Health and Healing  -- part 5
Wishing you felt better is not the same as wanting to be healed, or wanting to be healthy! To want something means that your desire is so strong that you will make the decision to go after it, commit yourself toward it, pursue after it and do whatever you have to do to get it!
January 2019 Newsletter - Health and Healing  -- part 4
For the healing process to take place, for there to be total healing, there has to be healing in the body, spirit, mind, and emotions.

December 2018 Newsletter - Health and Healing  -- part 3
“Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with
oil in the name of the Lord.”
James 5:14
November 2018 Newsletter - The Winners  -- part 1
When Doctrinal Believers see others in society accumulating wealth and security, acquiring homes and property, making advancements in their careers, and they are not, they start to think, feel, and act like losers....
This study is about us seeing ourselves as we truly are...
We are not losers, WE are The Victors!
October '18 - Health and Healing  -- part 2
Christ Came to Heal.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, therefore he anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to captives, and new sight to the blind; to send away crushed ones in deliverance; to preach an acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:23
September '18 - Health and Healing  -- part 1
This study is looks at the concepts of health and healing in the OT and the NT. From it we will see that God wants us to be healthy! We may have problems from time to time, sometimes resulting from our own bad decisions, sometimes undeserved, but all are designed to cause us to grow into the image of Christ. We will also see that the health issues that Job suffered was not the norm, but really the exception to the rule!"
August '18 - The Disappearance of Grace Believers  -- part 1
To paraphrase King David in Psalm 12:1-2 "Where's the grace believers who love Bible Doctrine? All I hear and see are religious hypocrites whose mouths run off with meaningless gibberish!"
July '18 -- Wearing Believers Out  -- part 1
“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Daniel 7:25
June '18 -- John 14  -- part 1
“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:10
May '18 -- John 14  -- part 1
“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
April '18 -- Revelations Six  -- part 4
“And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,” Revelations 6:16
March '18 -- Revelations Six  -- part 3
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.” Revelations 6:12
February '18 -- Revelations Six  -- part 2
If the wrath of God is directed at those who do not believe on Christ as their Savior, how much more wrath do you think there will be when God avenges the blood of his dear children on those who murdered them? No wonder the unsaved of the world cry out to the mountains to fall upon them to hide them from the wrath of God and the Lamb!
January '18 -- Revelations Six  -- part 1
“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.” Revelations 6:1

December '17 -- Christian Repentance  -- part 2
Who needs to repent? Obviously unbelievers; in that they need to have a change of mental attitude of who they are before God – that they need to turn their souls toward Christ in faith and at the same time, turn their souls away from the world and everything in it.
For the believers in Christ; if the teaching of the Word of God isn't the most important thing in our lives, we need to repent.
November '17 -- Christian Repentance  -- part 1
The message of repentance has been often preached down throughout the years and usually directed towards unbelievers. But what does it mean to repent? Does it mean to feel sorry for our sins? Is it only for unbelievers, or is it directed toward the people of God also? Is it something that occurs after we feel sorry for our sins? And what does “godly sorrow” mean anyway?
October '17 -- Clear-minded and Watchful  -- part 1
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 4:7
September '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 45
We can choose to deal with our emotions and start living in the freedom of the spiritual life dynamic, or stay stuck in our emotions for the rest of our lives. God gives us the freedom to choose; but he also laid upon us the consequences of our decisions, whether good or bad.
August '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 44
It is the spiritual life dynamic that prevents the pressures and trials of life from being converted into stress in the soul. Stress in the soul will be quickly converted into sin in the soul. The first thing that happens is the activation of the emotional complex of the soul. It typically starts with fear, then anger, then the rest come flooding in.
July '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 43
Regardless of what our problem is; regardless of what the source of our pressure is: finances, health, job, people, etc. human solutions are never he answer! Only divine solutions can solve our problems and they are found in what David did; he turned to the Lord in faith and prayer. Psalms 34:6, “This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”
June '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 42
When we meditate on the Word of God, faith starts to be activated in our souls. That faith coupled with biblical confession of sin, leads to filling of the Holy Spirit, which brings love joy, peace, etc... Now we are operating in the New Nature and all the garbage in our souls starts to go away. It doesn't change a past hurt or wrong suffered, but its destructive dynamic no longer torments our souls.
May '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 40
Believers will accumulate scar tissue on their souls before they were saved and even after they are saved. Fear, anger, and guilt (and other fleshly emotions) pinch off the spiritual flow in the soul, and over time will eventually close off sections of the soul entirely.
April '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 39
There are two main culprits in bitterness and they are the will and pride! Pride wants to have its way, which involves the will and when it doesn't it reacts with bitterness, then anger follows.
March '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 38
Meditating on God's Word and promises is crucial to giving the believer a healthy soul and a successful and prosperous life.
February '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 37
The sin nature that resides in our flesh is the source of every sin that we commit. One of the most persuasive ways that it operates is by deceit – sin deceives us and the next thing we know, we are caught up by different lusts, malice, hate, jealousy and all the rest.
January '17 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 36
Stiff Necked Believers - What is it that causes us so much problem in our lives and interferes with us having fellowship with God and receiving his blessings on our lives? Could it be that the problem is one of pride? This is a short study on pride and its effect even on our bodies.

December '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 35
When Abram turned his soul to the promise that God made to him, then his fear went away; and the same thing will happen to us today, 4,000 years later. When we turn our souls in faith to the promises that God makes to us, the fear will go away!
November '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 34
The emotional complex of the soul is made up of: fear, anger, guilt, grief, envy, human love, and human happiness. While the spiritual phenomena that the Holy Spirit produces in us: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, hope, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, forbearance of one another, and forgiving one another.
October '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 33
Some have an ecstatic “experience” and no one is going to tell them that it's not a spiritual one, regardless of what the Bible teaches! They then justify it by picking out words and phrases from the Bible which they falsely construe to back it up. We all need careful exegesis and analysis of those Scriptures to find out what they're really saying, not what we want them to say.
September '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 32
The Belt of Truth: It takes the consistent intake of doctrinal teaching, over a long period of time, to build up layers of protection so that our emotions aren't pierced and activated; so our metabolization of Bible Doctrine won't be affected.
August '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 31
When there the absence of faith in the Word of God, then the emotions of the soul will be activated and we are totally out of fellowship, the spiritual life dynamic is not present, and we will be trying to solve our problems with human solutions, which are no solution at all.
July '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 30
Due to the deluding influence of Satan, his world system, and the body's sinful nature being so strong, we are easily pulled away from the spiritual life dynamic of the faith rest life. That's why we have to encourage each other every day.  We can't let one day go by; for one day could turn into the rest of our lives!
June '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 29
It is only Bible Doctrine metabolized by faith coupled with the filling of the Holy Spirit that enables us to be free from the illusions of the mind and see life, both eternal and temporal, as it truly is. This is enlightenment. “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:18
May '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 28
People won't admit to their illusions because they think they're real! Only through Bible Doctrine and spiritual growth will the believer go through the process of disillusionment where he will finally see and accept the truth. It's like trying to show someone they're wrong when they're convinced they're right! Or trying to show an unbeliever he's on the path to Hell when he's convinced there's no Hell!
April '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 27
God is in charge of our spiritual growth and is always working to remove the scar tissue in our souls. His goal is to make us like Christ in our souls! First is in the area of the mind (the seat of thinking); normally taking around 6 months to 2 years. Next is in the heart, (the seat of the emotions), but it is much more difficult to remove scar tissue in the heart and it takes a lot longer time to do so. The heart is slow and reluctant to change.
March '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 26
When we don't know why we are suffering we are to seek the face of God in prayer to find out why and what course of action he would have us to follow.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5
“Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.” James 5:13
February '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 25
In dealing with our emotions, our lusts, or garbage in the soul, one of the first things we must do is choose whether we are going to spend the rest of our lives controlled by these things, or to live our lives in the new nature and the filling of the Holy Spirit. The next thing we need to see is that the emotional complex of the soul will hinder or shut down the spiritual life dynamic inside us. 2 Corinthians 6:12
January '16 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 24
Focusing on our position in Christ in relationship to the three areas of the devil, the world and the flesh, so as to remain centered in the spiritual life dynamic.

December '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 23
The “spiritual center” for Christians is centered around the teaching of the Word of God, faith in God and his promises to us, the filling of the Holy Spirit and our minds stayed upon him everyday. When we
are centered we have peace and mental stability, as well as the healing of our souls' many problems.
November '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 22
The Christian who doesn't want to depart from his walk with God, must make a decision to go on with Bible Doctrine, and be firmly resolved to do so, regardless of who or what is trying to seduce him away. Then he or she must make Doctrine the priority, each day of his or her life, along with being committed to spending time each day in the faith rest drill, and the filling of the Holy Spirit.
October '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 21
We're talking about emotions and how they cause us problems, not only the emotions we are presently experiencing, but emotions that have been buried deep down in our souls.
September '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 20
There are five basic areas in which we will have the battle of the flesh against the spirit: the will, the mind, the heart, one's speech and one's actions; the heart is the most difficult area. And because we will be going into uncharted territories, then we're going to have to really rely on prayer for the answers. James 1:5:13
August '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 19
The spiritual life phenomena are far superior to emotional phenomena. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:23,24
It is only accessed by living in the sphere of faith under the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
July '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 18
This outline is not designed to be an exhaustive study on the flesh; but to be fairly comprehensive in pointing out things that will enable us to recognize the various manifestations of the flesh nature's
activity; for the purpose of being able to regain the spiritual life activity of peace found in the filling of the Holy Spirit and the new nature.
June '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 17
People may claim to be lovers of God, but without loving his Word they aren't. What they do love, instead, is pleasure, entertainment, stimulant gratification, themselves, and everything else pertaining to the flesh. And as a part of their self-deception, they have a form of godliness, but deny its power because what is absent is the filling of the Holy Spirit and metabolized doctrine.
May '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 16
We have got to understand that the emotions we feel today Adam and Eve did not experience before they sinned! They did not know fear, anger, guilt, grief, jealousy, or even the concept of human love and happiness we experience today. And there is no way that we, as fallen sinful beings, can know what unfallen, sinless beings experienced in their souls.
April '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 15
We have problems recognizing our emotions because many of them have been suppressed, or repressed down into the subconscious. It is a defense mechanism we learned back in childhood to avoid pain, embarrassment, ridicule, or repercussion from others. While it helped us to survive as children, it becomes destructive as adults.
How can we recognize and confess that which we have kept hidden in the sub-conscious?
March '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 14
We need to intensely focus ourselves on prayer, faith and the things pertaining to the spiritual life. We are to keep praying, keep in the Word and keep going over the promises, until we get the faith to prevail over the situation! We are to do it ourselves and it is helpful to seek those positive to this concept, who will help us in doing so.
February '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 13
God often puts believers through situations that parallel what they went through in the past, to bring up those old negative feelings that are hindering their spiritual growth and walk with Him. These new situations, (tests, trials, pressure), create tension in the soul, which is something we've been trying to avoid. This forces us to get the doctrinal answers for our souls, thus creating growth and more faith.
January '15 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 12
“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:22
In this passage our "burden" means our "lot in life." What God wants us to do is accept the things in life that can't be changed and cast them upon him!

December '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 11
The external adversities of life, if not met at the border of our souls with faith in the promises of God, will be converted to stress in the soul thus triggering fear in the soul. The solution for fear is faith in the promises of God.
November '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 10
The emotion of human love is a very powerful force, causing most people on earth to search for their “soul mates.” But what they fail to see is that a Right Man/Right Woman relationship is a blessing of Bible Doctrine and that its successful enjoyment is dependent upon both being positive to Doctrine!
October '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 9

Many Americans are fans (fanatics) over some football or baseball team, so why can't we be fans over the Word of God? The only real solution for our problems of the soul is a spiritual solution centered around God's Word and his Spirit! We must make Bible Doctrine and the spiritual life dynamic the primary focus in our lives!
September '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 8
Living in our emotions will keep us from living in the spiritual life dynamic; and living in the spiritual life dynamic will keep us from living in our emotions! Living in the spiritual life dynamic is the solution to all our problems in life including dealing with our emotions, but to do that we will have to identify our feelings, confess them to God and apply the spiritual problem solving device.
August '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 7
Hannah was surrounded by blessing, prosperity and love, but she was not thankful for it; it didn't even register with her and that was because she was bitter and self-absorbed. But when she finally humbled her pride before God and was willing to be used for his purpose, in this case a son, he finally granted her request. But how many years of her life were wasted in bitterness? - 1 Samuel 1:10
July '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 6
There is a force inside each one of us that is trying to keep our painful, embarrassing, or sinful feelings buried inside of us. At the same time, there is another force trying to bring these feelings to the light of day, where the conscious mind can see them. This is where much of the tension in the soul comes from, and this is one of the things that causes stress in the soul.
June '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 5

May '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 4
The lack of peace in our lives, being in a negative mood all the time, and physical discomfort are all clues that we are not living in the Spiritual Life Dynamic. One of the biggest things that will help us is asking God for wisdom in the matter.
April '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 3
There are four major areas that war against our souls and cause us so much misery: One, stress in the soul, which we have allowed in from the world system; Two, sin in the soul, which comes from the sin nature; Three, false doctrine in the soul; Four, the inner conflict of the defense mechanisms of the soul in the area of repressed emotions. We must learn to use God's spiritual provisions to deal with them.
March '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 2
We need to focus on the sort of things that contribute to our peace of mind, and having a tranquil environment. And the most important thing we need is a disciplined, daily study of Bible Doctrine. This is being proactive for the good, instead of reacting to what is bad!
February '14 -- Dealing With Emotions - Review  -- part 1
Our emotions have a negative impact on our souls and on living in the spiritual life dynamic. If our emotions can prevent our intake and metabolization of Bible doctrine, which our new natures so desperately need, then we can see how detrimental they can be. And remember, emotions are a part of the flesh nature not the new nature.

November '13 -- The Divine Council  -- part 3
Yahweh states in the Divine Council that the elohim/gods are going to be cast down from their lofty position, that their immortality is going to be taken from them, and that they are going to die like Adam.
October '13 -- The Divine Council  -- part 2
When Yahweh created the earth and the man, he placed Adam as the ruler over the world. Adam had dominion over the earth and all that was on it. But when he failed in that one simple test, he lost all that. So now what? This is where the elohim came in and were given rulership over the earth. As it says, Satan is the god of this age and the ruler over the world.
September '13 -- The Divine Council  -- part 1
All Mediterranean cultures had a conception of a divine council of gods that ruled the affairs of the cosmos. While other nations had their theology on this divine council studied and handed down over the generations; Israel's theology on the divine council was given to them through the prophets in God's Word.
August '13 -- Living Our Own Spiritual Life
Eusebeia (usually translated "godlyness") refers to the believer in Christ living life in their very own spiritual life while here on the earth. Which will be followed by them living in their own spiritual life for all eternity in a resurrection body.
July '13 -- Ministers Of The Spiritual Life Dynamic
We will see is that Paul, the other apostles, as well as pastor teachers, are servants – not servants of people, churches, or church denominations, but of God! This service springs forth out of their love and grace; Their love for God and their grace to the people of God. The apostle gift gives them the authority to carry out their service to God, just the same as the Pastor-Teacher gift gives us the authority to carry out our ministry for God!
June '13 -- Escaping The Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26  -- part 3
The only way out of the the Devil's snare for this arrogant believer is to have a true and genuine change of mind and heart toward the Word of God, toward the entire doctrinal system of God. But, because of his entrenched arrogance toward the authority structures that God has set in place, it becomes doubtful that he will.
May '13 -- Escaping The Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26  -- part 2
It is God who first moves man toward repentance and conversion. But he can be so permeated by the evil he is involved in that he resists such turning to God. And he can become so arrogant and bitter that he will not turn to the Lord, or return to the Lord.
April '13 -- Escaping The Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26  -- part 1
This passage is directed toward believers in Jesus Christ, who through either their own negative volition in rejecting Bible Doctrine, or through their own carelessness allowed themselves to drift away from it, have now been taken captive by Satan and are doing his will in their lives.

God's eternal purpose concerning those he has chosen and brought to Christ is for their ultimate good. And these passages have effectively concluded that God is on our side and is working on our behalf. If God is for us, and He is, then who can be against us?

November '12 -- Romans 8  -- part 3
We pray for things we think we want, but the Spirit knows that they are nothing but lusts. So he prays for us concerning the deepest desires of our hearts;“With groanings which cannot be uttered.” Rom.8:26
October '12 -- Romans 8  -- part 2
Our inner essence is being changed by means of the dynamics of faith, the Word of God, and the filling of the Holy Spirit. These three concepts, coupled with going through various trials in life create a spiritual phenomena inside of us which transforms us in the inner man bringing us into conformity to Christ.
September '12 -- Romans 8  -- part 1
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Rom. 8:18
August '12 -- Health and Healing  -- part 5
Do you just wish that you felt better, or do you really want to feel better? You have to want to change; You have to want to seek after anything and everything that will help you. You have to make a decision to be well and healthy; Pray to God to be well and healthy; Commit yourselves to the course of health, and then pursue after it the rest of your lives!
July '12 -- Health and Healing  -- part 4
Weakness leads to sickness and is just the opposite of strength and health. “Is anyone of you (in the church) sick?” The scriptural approach to sickness is very interesting. In Jas. 5:14 the Apostle James is telling them to call for the elders of the church, which indicates that they were familiar with this area of dealing with sickness in their society.
June '12 -- Health and Healing  -- part 3
Prayer is the solution for the times we are suffering because of our emotions. This is so important to us all, because our emotional state can adversely affect not only our state of mind, but our bodies as well. Our physical well-being is impacted more that we realize, for the good or bad, by our emotions.
May '12 -- Health and Healing  -- part 2
In Proverbs 8 it says that all who hate wisdom love death. If death is at the opposite end of the spectrum from life and health, then they hate health! So what is our mental attitude toward health?
April '12 -- Health and Healing  -- part 1
What this study is designed to do is to look at the concepts of healing both in the OT and the NT, and from it we will see that God does want us to be healthy!
March '12 -- Return of Christ  -- part 3

February '12 -- Christ's Return  -- part 2
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7
If this Babylonian mystery religion is going forward unhindered toward their goal of world domination and control, and bringing their “super-man” to power, then it can be attributed to only one thing – that the Holy Spirit is no longer restraining them!
January '12 -- Christ's Return  -- part 1

November '11 -- Dealing With Demons  -- part 2
Demons are often brought into the home by one or more of the family members, where they can work to destroy the family dynamic of love, bonding and caring!
October '11 -- Dealing With Demons  -- part 1
In our study we are going to look at the concepts of demonism, demon activity, demon possession and demon influence. We will also look at some of the manifestations of demon activity and how it negatively impacts people's lives, health and thought life.
September '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 8
Forgetting the past, accepting the present, while moving on into the future can be very difficult for us when the things of the heart so well up to the surface that we are overcome by them. But this is where Faith and the application of the Word of God comes in.
August '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 7
“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Faith in God and his Word is the only thing that is to be circulating through our stream of consciousness! There is to be no place for doubt, disbelief, or fear – Only Faith. Mark 5:36
July '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 6
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
June '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 5
Our prayers are to be faith-prayers; prayers where we actually believe that we will get what we have asked God for! “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Matthew 21:22
May '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 4
What we need to do is turn our souls in total concentration on what the Word of God is telling us, especially concerning this matter of faith, then a miraculous thing will happen. We will find our minds change from being negative and unbelieving to one of faith and hope!
April '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 3
When we live by faith in the Word, the gap between heaven and earth is bridged and we are able to live a spiritual life in a material world!
March '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 2
And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. Romans 4:12
February '11 -- We Walk By Faith  -- part 1
The recurring theme throughout the Bible is that God's people are to live by faith! Even our Savior, the son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, lived by faith when he was here on earth. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." Hebrews 12:2
January '11 -- Christ's Sheep  -- part 3
Now the problem that the Jews had with Christ was him continually referring to himself as the Son of God... The hypocrisy was that they too were claiming that God was their father! The very thing they were accusing Christ over in the matter of blasphemy; they were saying the same thing themselves!

December '10 -- Christ's Sheep  -- part 2
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:28
One has no right or claim to eternal life by virtue of being physically born. It must be granted to him by Jesus Christ, who gives it only to the one who trusts him as his/her Savior.
November '10 -- Christ's Sheep  -- part 1
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" John 10:27
All of us have a distinctive sound to our voices. A mother knows the sound of her infant, and children know the sound of their mothers and fathers. And in those days, and still today, the sheep know the sound of their shepherd.

October '10 -- Psalm 22 -- part 6
Now what the Lord is referring to is his nephesh! His soul. And what he is saying is that not only is his nephesh more valuable than anything on earth, but also that everyone's individual nephesh is more special and valuable than anything else.

September '10 -- Psalm 22 -- part 5
The Lord has been talking about his relationship with the Father; the men surrounding him on the cross, directing all their hate toward him; he's been talking about his personal, physical suffering he was experiencing while on the cross, and now he shifts over to talk about his nephesh... His Soul.

August '10 -- Psalm 22 -- part 4
Make no mistake about it, their vicious attack on Jesus Christ was an attack on his soul! They wanted to destroy his soul; they wanted to destroy his trust in Yahweh; they wanted to get some kind of sinful flesh reaction from him - but they failed!

July '10 -- Psalm 22 -- part 3
"But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts" Psalm 22:9

June '10 -- Psalm 22 -- part 2
Jesus suffered according to the will of the Father. It pleased Yahweh to crush Him. And as the result he bought our salvation because he died for our sins.

May '10 -- Psalm 22  -- part 1
Jesus Christ was subjected to public shame on the cross and the ridicule of those around him, who were saying in effect, "You failed!" But remember, the plan of God for his Son, in which the Lord had placed his full confidence, was not ending at the cross! It called for the Father to raise him from the dead after he died.

March '10 -- Contentment

August '09 -- Immortalily
One of the questions that has been debated over the years in Christianity is concerning the soul of man. Not so much as to its composition, but is it eternal? Perhaps we can shed some light on the subject by bringing out what the Word has to say on the matter and where the doctrine of the eternality of the soul came from.

January '09 -- Who Is Jesus Christ?
The question for almost two thousand years is, who is Jesus Christ? Some have called him a good man, others a great teacher, still others a divine being and for many an object of cursing and hatred. But for those who have trusted him as their Savior, he is the Son of the Most High God, very God himself.

November '08 -- Faith Ideas  -- part 3
The Bible tells us that we're to live by faith, that we're to walk by faith and that apart from faith it's impossible to please God. To begin with there isn't any way that we can fully do justice in our short study to Joseph's life, but what we can hope to do is study the trauma that he experienced out of all this, how it impacted his life and the faith that sustained him.  "Ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good"  Genesis 50:20

August '07 -- Strikings The Sails - Forward Momentum  -- conclusion
This study is really a study on the necessity for faith in the Christian life. A nautical metaphor is used, not only because it is based upon the text, but because there are so many things involved in the Christian life that are brought out in it.  "And if he shrinks back,"  Hebrews 10:37

June '07 -- Strikings The Sails - Forward Momentum  -- part 2 correction!

April '07 -- Parable Of The Sower
Many have wondered over the years why is it that some people believe on Christ and some don't. Many Pastors have also wondered as to why some believers continue on with the Word over the years, while most seem to fall by the wayside. The Lord gives us understanding in this matter in the parable of the sower. "He spake by a parable:"  Luke 8:4
March '07 -- Power For Life

February '07 -- Hell's Still Waiting -- part 2
This is the second part of Hell's Still Waiting. "There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores."  Luke 16:19-21
January '07 -- Hell's Still Waiting  -- part 1
People today don't talk about hell any more, not even in many churches. But just because we don't talk about hell doesn't mean that it went away! It's still there and it's still waiting. The question is, is it waiting for you? If you have not believed on Jesus Christ as your Savior, then it is waiting for you.

October '06 -- Hope  -- part 2
Even the believer in Christ, who has blown every opportunity that God has given him to appropriate his grace, who has willingly and persistently refused to live by faith in the Word of God and who has rebelled against God's will for his or her life, even if they are taken out of this life under the sin unto death, even that believer has hope!
September '06 -- Hope  -- part 1
Hope is the confident expectation that good awaits you in the future. It is not a wish or desire that good things will happen to you in the future, but the confidence that they will! The mental attitude of hope is one of the most important dynamics that a believer can have going on inside of him, and is to be cultivated along with faith and love.

June '06 -- Eve's Lust  -- part 1
From the beginning of the Bible to its final revelation there is one theme that stands throughout it and that is the matter of authority and Bible Doctrine. The Apostle James tells us that God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. He commands us to submit to the authority of God and to resist the devil. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."  James 4:7
May '06 -- A Vexed Soul
A tormented soul comes about for the average believer as the result of a breakdown of not having the inner spiritual dynamic, that God has provided for us all, actively operating on the inside in their soul, and from being exposed to a variety of negative external concepts surrounding the believer in the society.
April '06 -- Angry Wives
God has designed marriage to be a blessing to both the man and his wife, and the home to be a place of tranquility, a place where one can go to relax, a place for healing, but in so many homes today in our modern world marriage has become a setting of ongoing hostility between the husband and wife and the home a battle ground.
March '06 -- The World
In the Old Testament the concept of the world, or the kosmos, is never used, only the words the heavens and the earth, but in the New Testament it is referred to many times. And it can refer to several things depending on the context: the earth itself, the inhabitants of the earth, the universe, and the system of control that Satan uses to control the people of the earth and keep them in bondage.

September '05 -- The Proper Application of the Doctrine of Election
This is a short study covering 37 points...
1. The doctrine of election, along with the millions of other Christian doctrines, is basically for believers in Christ only.
2. The doctrine of the gospel, where Christ died for our sins, was buried and raised again, and that salvation comes by faith alone in Christ alone is the only Christian doctrine for the unsaved.

July '05 -- Whole Counsel Training
"For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God."  Acts 20:27.  As Paul was returning back to Jerusalem, he called to himself the elders of the church at Ephesus to impart to them certain doctrinal concepts. June '05 -- The Disappearance of Grace Believers
Pride, carnality, worldliism, idolatry, hedonism, materialism, lust gratification, human good, self righteousness, debauchery, moral and immoral degeneracy, came into the picture as the people of God turned away from the Word of God. We are seeing it today as David saw it in his day and wrote about it in Psalm 12.
May '05 -- Romanism versus Christianity
