Grace Versus Human Good "But we
are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as
filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away."
Isaiah 64:6 |

came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the
earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God
saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took
them wives of all which they chose."

'08 -- Weary of Life -- part
2 "And Jacob loved Rachel;
and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger
daughter. And Laban said, It is better that I give her to
thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with
me. And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed
unto him but a few days, for the love he had to
her." Genesis

December '07 -- Weary Of Life -- part 1 "And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the
daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of
Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land,
what good shall my life do me?" Genesis

November '07 -- Joseph's Suffering And
Triumph To begin with there isn't
any way that we can fully do justice in our short study to
Joseph's life, but what we can hope to do is study the trauma
that he experienced out of all this, how it impacted his life
and the faith that sustained him. "Ye thought evil
against me; but God meant it unto good" Genesis

we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we
gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection
unto the Father of spirits, and live?" Hebrews

September '07 -- The Leading Of The Holy
Spirit The fact that there are
people on earth who are led by the Holy Spirit is an
attestation that they belong to God. It is similar to the
shepherd leading his sheep. "For as many as are led
by the Spirit of God," Romans

'07 -- Strikings The Sails - Forward Momentum -- conclusion This
study is really a study on the necessity for faith in the
Christian life. A nautical metaphor is used, not only because
it is based upon the text, but because there are so many
things involved in the Christian life that are brought out in
it. "And if he shrinks back," Hebrews

Strikings The Sails - Forward Momentum -- part 3 And, as
the navigator always looked up the the sun in heavens, or the
moon in the heavens, so do believers always have to look to
heaven to ascertain where they are in the plan of
God! "And if he shrinks back," Hebrews

Strikings The Sails - Forward Momentum -- part 2 correction! It is as we stick with Bible Doctrine, live
by faith and grow in the Word that our faith continues to grow
unto the place of absolute confidence. "And if he

Forward Momentum It is as we stick
with Bible Doctrine, live by faith and grow in the Word that
our faith continues to grow unto the place of absolute
confidence. "For ye have need of patience,"

-- Parable Of The Sower Many have
wondered over the years why is it that some people believe on
Christ and some don't. Many Pastors have also wondered as to
why some believers continue on with the Word over the years,
while most seem to fall by the wayside. The Lord gives us
understanding in this matter in the parable of the sower.
"He spake by a parable:" Luke

-- Power For Life The Lord told us
that in this life we will have pressure. "These
things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good
cheer; I have overcome the world." John

February '07 -- Hell's Still Waiting -- part 2 This is
the second part of Hell's Still Waiting. "There was a
certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen,
and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain
beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of
sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell
from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked
his sores." Luke 16:19-21 |

'07 -- Hell's Still Waiting --
part 1 People today don't talk
about hell any more, not even in many churches. But just
because we don't talk about hell doesn't mean that it went
away! It's still there and it's still waiting. The question
is, is it waiting for you? If you have not believed on Jesus
Christ as your Savior, then it is waiting for
you. |

please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him." Hebrews 11:6 |

Transformation? "And be not
conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans

'06 -- Hope -- part 2 Even the
believer in Christ, who has blown every opportunity that God
has given him to appropriate his grace, who has willingly and
persistently refused to live by faith in the Word of God and
who has rebelled against God's will for his or her life, even
if they are taken out of this life under the sin unto death,
even that believer has hope! |
September '06 -- Hope -- part 1 Hope is
the confident expectation that good awaits you in the future.
It is not a wish or desire that good things will happen to you
in the future, but the confidence that they will! The mental
attitude of hope is one of the most important dynamics that a
believer can have going on inside of him, and is to be
cultivated along with faith and love. |

Eve's Lust -- part 2 This is the second part of Eve's Lust.
"And thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule
over thee." Genesis 3:16b |
June '06 --
Eve's Lust -- part 1 From the beginning of the Bible to its final
revelation there is one theme that stands throughout it and
that is the matter of authority and Bible Doctrine. The
Apostle James tells us that God is opposed to the proud, but
gives grace to the humble. He commands us to submit to the
authority of God and to resist the devil. "Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you." James 4:7 |
May '06 -- A
Vexed Soul A tormented soul comes
about for the average believer as the result of a breakdown of
not having the inner spiritual dynamic, that God has provided
for us all, actively operating on the inside in their soul,
and from being exposed to a variety of negative external
concepts surrounding the believer in the society. |

-- Angry Wives God has designed
marriage to be a blessing to both the man and his wife, and
the home to be a place of tranquility, a place where one can
go to relax, a place for healing, but in so many homes today
in our modern world marriage has become a setting of ongoing
hostility between the husband and wife and the home a battle
ground. |

-- The World In the Old Testament
the concept of the world, or the kosmos, is never
used, only the words the heavens and the earth, but in the New
Testament it is referred to many times. And it can refer to
several things depending on the context: the earth itself, the
inhabitants of the earth, the universe, and the system of
control that Satan uses to control the people of the earth and
keep them in bondage. |

'06 -- Fellowship with the Father One of the most commonly used words found
throughout churches today in Christianity is fellowship. But
it is used mainly in the context of fellowship between fellow
believers in Christ. "We had great fellowship with each
other", or they talk about their fellowship hour down at the
church. |

November '05 -- Doctrine of Election For several centuries now Christianity has
been divided over the subject of Arminianism, where man in
free will can choose for salvation, and the doctrine of
election, where God sovereignly chooses individuals for
salvation. This is a vast doctrinal field to cover and one can
spend years bringing forth the exegesis on the
subject. |

September '05 -- The Proper Application of the
Doctrine of Election This is a
short study covering 37 points... 1. The doctrine of
election, along with the millions of other Christian
doctrines, is basically for believers in Christ only. 2.
The doctrine of the gospel, where Christ died for our sins,
was buried and raised again, and that salvation comes by faith
alone in Christ alone is the only Christian doctrine for the
unsaved. |

Whole Counsel Training "For I
have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of
God." Acts 20:27. As Paul was
returning back to Jerusalem, he called to himself the elders
of the church at Ephesus to impart to them certain
doctrinal concepts. In this matter he told them that he had
communicated to them the whole counsel of
God. |

'05 -- The Disappearance of Grace Believers Pride, carnality, worldliism, idolatry,
hedonism, materialism, lust gratification, human good, self
righteousness, debauchery, moral and immoral degeneracy, came
into the picture as the people of God turned away from the
Word of God. We are seeing it today as David saw it in his day
and wrote about it in Psalm 12. |
May
'05 -- Romanism versus Christianity There are many
Christians today who think that the Roman Catholic Church is a
Christian church and that people can get saved by being a
member of it and by holding to its teachings. As always
personal issues are never the issue, but what does the Word of
God have to say on this matter. |

April '05 --- Holiness and
Godliness " But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away
with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent
heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be
burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness," 2 Peter 3: 10,

March '05 -- Sons of Bible
Doctrine "Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye
children: for blessed are they that keep my ways."
Proverbs 8:32. It has been said that
doctrine divides. It does! It divides the sheep
from the goats; the saved from the unsaved; the true believer
in Christ from the false Christian. |
February '05 -- Demonic Fear "But the
Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from
the LORD troubled him. And Saul's servants said unto

January '05 -- Faith
I.D.E.A.S. "Whatsoever things ye ask for, by means
of prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Our
faith should soar and our confidence in the Lord grow because
that means that the "sky's the limit" for all believers in
Christ! |

25th "Christmas Day or Mithras' Day?"

holiday that has been brought into Christianity and accepted
as Christian? |
