The group site is tent camping, but RV spaces are also available,
plus cabins on the shore. The base rates for tent camping is:
$18 per night, plus tax, and that includes two people, children
under 5 and one vehicle. Extra people six and older are $3 per
night, pets, (must be on leash and preferably don't bark), $2 per
night, extra vehicles $5 per night and motorized boats $5 per night.
Payable at check in when arriving at camp. (Check in
with the campground for other rules for camping). Payments
are not to be made to the church or the Internet site, but only to
the campground at check in time. They also do not accept
checks, only cash or VISA, DISCOVER and MASTERCARD credit cards.
There are indoor bathrooms and hot showers, a little store for
various things, a marina, boating, sailing, a public swimming area,
great areas for hiking and lake fishing, world class stream fishing,
swimming, the town just a few minutes away to get a latte, (roughing
it takes its toll on some of us), and a fantastic view of one of the
most beautiful mountains in the world!
We do have Bible classes usually every other day, baptizing in
the lake for those believers who have not yet been baptized, and
basically just a lot of relaxing, fellowshipping with each other and
the Lord over his Word, and doing what you want to do, and if that's
doing nothing, then great! For many it's a time to relax,
enjoy old friendships and develop new ones and get out of the rat
race.
We hope to see you there next summer, and if you have any
questions just email me at pacificrimbible@charter.net.
